My barometer is the bream s...It's late alright. My barometer is the bream spawning up the canal. Last year this time they were starting to bounce off the far bank and by mid-May, humping away merrily. This year, no sign of them and I ain't caught a bream in that spot yet this year, which is most odd. I reckon it's all about three, even four weeks behind schedule. <br /><br />On the pits it's all no groundbait, and wait and wait.
