I think I've got a few ideas of where could produce a few fish from the bank when the waters a bit higher/coloured. A moving bait all the way Dan and don't ignore under your feet and the along edge even along the pilings. I want a lure caught one from a river now. For so long I've been looking for that bit of heavy cover we all think they hide under. Now though from what I am seeing with fishing the drop shot I beginning to think I've been fishing all the wrong places, and there's no doubt in my mind that they are seriously into a moving bait.

I will probably heading back down over the weekend sometime as I think I may have unfinished business with a different spiny character.Daniel Everitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03810934657655675462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5461613026489704130.post-33479340664390495572014-11-27T07:09:47.954-08:002014-11-27T07:09:47.954-08:00Thanks Dan, and that's a far bigger zander tha...Thanks Dan, and that's a far bigger zander than I was led to believe you'd had on the drop shot worm approach. And you also had more than I thought. On such a tough day for dead baiting its pretty impressive going and a whole Sunday lunch in the way of food for thought. I mean, were they actually really having it bombing around looking for active prey rather than scavenging? Jeff Hatthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16164198326538064799noreply@blogger.com
