Just for fun.

Over the weekend I caught up on a few preparations for the impending summers fishing and in doing so it all got a bit Blue Peter to say the least. I ended up constructing this monstrosity to help me with what I was making. Although I always knew what I was making, Jacky had to see it in use to realise what it was.

So I thought I would pass the challenge on to some fellow anglers and ask you what you think it is. Leave your guesses as comments.
Sadly there is no prize on offer this time as it's just for fun and bragging rights. I will post up a second picture of it in use in the next few days. So get guessing....

    1. I suppose it would work as a bivvy table and it could easily be made camo. It would not do well in wet conditions! but then the sales of it would go through the roof in winter. Hmm I think I will start emailing the design to some tackle company's ;)

    1. Baz next time we go fishing together I will make one of these and one of us can use it as a seat whilst the other one films it on his mobile. Then we can send the result of to YBF and that £125 each in the bag my man :)

  4. It reminds me a system I used to use for putting sight bobs on the tips of fine wire-tipped pole floats but then it wouldn't have the piece of card hanging from the foam and on that basis I too am stumped for an answer

  5. You can tell a lot about someone from the contents of their cubards. In this case it looks like a float painting/drying set up.
The reason behind the notch in the foam to house the yogurt box is beyond me though
